One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to meet so many people that I otherwise wouldnt have gotten to get to know. These two were so sweet and I instantly knew that I was going to love working with them. I honestly am super excited to do their formal session in a few weeks and their wedding in May!
Barrett rushed to our shoot so he could get there before Emily and fill me in on his little secret - he was going to propose to Emily during our session! So we shot for a couple of minutes so Emily wouldnt be suspicious. When the time came and he pulled out the ring and got down on one knee, he wanted me to focus on capturing her reaction, which was priceless! She yelled "Shut up!" because she thought the ring wasnt ready yet, then of course said YES!
