It did take a while to set up all these flashes.....just kidding. This picture was taken from the green at Newton under Roseberry during the first day of the Odins Glow event where the village hosts several art and light installation as well as being the main base to view the illuminated Roseberry Topping.
The event seemed well attended and the installations were very clever and imaginative. It did seem to lack that wow factor or sense of drama. Maybe having some fire jugglers or a burning Viking boat/effigy would give a focal point at the end of the evening.
Besides from my humble opinion Im sure it will be a great success.
